Actor Mark Womack called in show biz fitness trainer Jon Trevor ahead of playing lead in an explosive film Directed by the legendary Ken Loach, the powerful story is about two SAS boyhood pals Frankie (John Bishop) and Fergus (Mark Womack) a mercenary in Iraq who is determine to find out the truth and expose the cover-up surrounding his friend Frankie’s death on the ‘Route Irish’

Out on general release March 18th 2011 ‘Route Irish’ is written by Paul Laverty and co-stars Andrea Lowe and Trevor Williams, the film’s cast also includes Walton Gulf war veteran Crag Lundberg who lost his sight fighting insurgents who attacked his unit whilst on patrol in Basra.
